Mothers Day
Hello
Lovelies,
Happy
(almost) Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there! It’s important for us to
remember that celebrating your mom/mother figures is something that should be
done all year round. We all have a limited amount of time on this Earth and
there may come a day when you’re celebrating Mother’s Day without her. I’m
truly not trying to bring anyone down on this wonderful day. I think it’s good
to remember that everything in this life has a time limit and it’s important to
appreciate the moments we have, while we’re having them.
Our
mothers did the best they could with the information they had at the time.
There were times when they didn’t feel like they were doing it right or doing
enough and the mommy guilt was real. Mother’s Day is when we get to take
special care to remind them that they did a great job. To let them know they
gave us the foundations to become the amazing people we are today.
Are
you wondering what to do for Mother’s Day?
I
would recommend family or together photos. I know in the present world
situation you might not be able to get them taken now but you can print out the
photographer’s logo and make a cute note or poem about the photos. This is
something that everyone will appreciate forever.
Create
a garden together or plant a tree for all of your ancestral mothers. This is
something you both can do together to appreciate all the mothers that fell in
line to create you both.
Spend
time with your mom, cook a meal with her, skype a meal with her if you’re far
away.
It
doesn’t have to be expensive; it just needs to show that you’re thinking of her
and are appreciative for all of the things she did for you. When she could have
been traveling the world or just living her best childless life. In short,
thank you to every mom on here, every loving step mom, and all people who take
on a motherly role. You are deeply appreciated!
